My name is Kelly Stanley and I am a junior here at IUSB majoring Graphic Design. Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping, photography, crafting, and sewing. My favorite movies are Just Go with it and the Hunger Games series, and TV shows are The Voice, Big Bang Theory, and Duck Dynasty. After graduation I would love to open my own business or to be able to teach graphic classes to high school students. I love kids and I love creating and sharing my talents, why not combine them into one!
I felt your emotion was "Joy". It was nice. I liked the scene where the little girl raised her arms when she reached the top. :) The laughter that you carried out throughout the whole video added to the emotion.
I enjoyed your video a lot. The music worked great with the video to show your emotion, which I think is happiness/joy. I also liked the laugh track you put in, it added to the emotion.
The way in which the rolling down the hill shot was looped was nice to see done in that way. I really liked the music but I think the laughter track may have needed to come down a little bit in volume to balance everything out. All in all I feel like the video conveyed a sense of happiness and playfulness throughout.
First of all, your kids are so cute! The music and daylight along with the smiling kids made me feel happy. It also gave me a sense of nostalgia that gave me memories of my own childhood: just being free and having fun! Very well done.
I liked the music that you set behind this video but I LOVED that you kept the laughter of the children in the video. It defiantly conveys much more of the emotion of happiness this way. I really enjoyed your video, nicely done!
I thought you did a great job capturing your children having a fun day at the park, I liked how you started the video with the kids playing on the rocks. I thought the transitions were nice from different scenes. I also liked when they were rolling down the hill and playback of that scene.
I liked the sound of your kids laughing throughout. I also like them rolling down the hill. So precious.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used the combination of music as well as the laughter. I thought it gave the video a really nice feel.
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to see more shots! Also if the camera were a bit more steady at times.
ReplyDeleteThe music fit well to give us the relaxed, content happiness.
The music went very well with the theme and story of the video. It had a kind of home family video feel to it.

ReplyDeletethe music and sound effects were a nice touch for your video. Well shot and composed, I'm not sure what the emotion was exactly, but I liked it.

I like that you used the post production editing to help portray the emotion, the only thing that I did not like was how long the first shot was.
