  1. That was super cute, I loved the weather of the day you shot. Everything was sunny yet cloudy, alive with spring yet dead with the winter. I think this helped your story a lot.

  2. I really liked the shot composition for your video, your use of rule of thirds is great! I also liked the attention to detail. The ending could have been a little bit better in terms of the heat shape, it seems disconnected from the rest of the video.

  3. It was a fun concept. I liked how your colors that you were wearing at the end were brighter. To me it = life, and your bf's were more neutral. Good job!

  4. You did a really good job of sticking to what you said you wanted to do in the pitch. I loved the scene when kelly ignores him. You can really get a sense of frustration from him. And i this you did a good job jumping back and forth between him interacting with makenzie. That would have been very difficult in editing.

  5. I really enjoyed your video, I think you stuck to what planned well and got the story across. The editing was great, I liked the end with the two in front of the sunset, i think it added a nice ending to it.

  7. Great video! When I heard your concept when you pitched the video, I knew it was going to be difficult to pull off but you guys did a good job in creating the crash. Your transitions and acting were all well done!

  8. This video was really done well! I like that you choose to shoot this video on campus. I didn't really understand how Chris puts the note in her pocket, disappears, then suddenly comes back to life on the ground after Mckenzie kisses him. That part is a little confusing but other than that I really liked your video. You had nice editing techniques and I enjoyed your story. Nice Job!

  9. Great work. Really cool idea for video and very well executed. I though the dissolve transitions were perfect for the video.

  10. I really liked the angles chosen and most of the shots during the video, and the locations worked well for what was happening in the video. The text and some of the shots though seemed a little off/unnecessary, and the ending image wipe didn't really do it for me due to clichéness (if that's a word), but all in all good job.

  11. The story fit very well to your pitch!

I enjoyed how the camera was steady and affixed on a tripod for majority / all of the video. It really helps to have a clean product.

For suggestions - for future shots, be weary of where you're shooting! In the Grill scene, the first thing I noticed was the bucket in the background. Make sure only the information that you want in the frame is there when you're shooting.
The video also seems a bit abrupt. As a suggestion to easily remedy that, perhaps you could cut some of the Grill scenes out. I felt we were lingering in that one spot a lot. That way it gives us time to connect with the couple.

But your lighting and camera work was great! The story followed through really well!

  12. I really like the plot of your video. It was very easy to follow. I especially liked the scenes where he was trying to get people's attention. Those were executed really well! The transitions also worked for the video. The one thing I thought was a little cliche was the heart scene at the very end. Other than that though, I really enjoyed it. Great job!

  13. I liked the shots that you used and the picture with the heart closing around it was a nice way to end the video.

  14. I thought overall the group did a good job portraying their initial concept. The camera views were nice as well as the transitions. I also liked the back and forth of the "dead" guy laying on the street.

  15. I liked the darker shots/atmosphere after he dies, but when he realizes he is dead and goes back to his body, the shots/atmosphere get brighter.
